Hey out there,
I'm having problems to run eclipse on my brandnew win vista ultimate 64
system.
it's runned by a amd 64 x2 dual core cpu.
I've been downloading eclipse-SDK-3.2.1-win32-x86_64.zip.
after extracting it, it told me that I would have to download a JRE or JDK,
because there hadnt been found a Java virtual machine.
Ok, so I was downloading jdk-6-windows-amd64.exe,
but after the installation the same dialog box appeared while trying to
start eclipse.
After that I decided to download and install jre-6-windows-i586.exe and
although jre-6-windows-i586-iftw.exe.
But the problem remains the same.
So the question is, what did I do wrong? Did I dowrong installations ? Do I
have to configure some eclipse files ?
Did I download the wrong stuff ?
please somone help me!

Try starting Eclipse specifying the -vm argument to point to the vm install
you wish to use

Is 3.2.1 supposed to be compatible with Vista? I thought we were waiting
for 3.3 for that.
