Could you post here .log file from your workspace/metadata?
And you can check your firewall settings and help settings in
window->preferences->help->content (checkbox should be unchecked).

Are those errors just from one session?
If not, please delete your .log file, run eclipse and try to see the
help. Then post here newly created .log file.
