The article "Generalized Undo Support in Eclipse" explains the new way to
support undo/redo. I noticed GEF is not moved to this direction yet. What's
the plan?
Thanks.

This API is still early access and interim.

We'll probably have this for 3.2. Look at the gef-dev mailing list archive
for more details.

I have looked closely at the API (and successfully used it as well), and I
did not come across any mention that it was interim. I am even using it in
a GEF application, and it works well. I only had to go an extra mile to
divert global actions (delete, move) to my OperationHistory, and away from
the GEF CommandStack.

My bad. I was looking at the wrong place.
