Hi there,

I created a simple compartment just the way as the mindmap tutorial
suggests. In the created gmfgen model I get always the property
"listLayout" set to true, which leads to a fixed layout in the
compartment. I would like to get a freeform layout just as in the
mindmap example. This can be achieved by manually setting the option to
"false".
Is there a way to get this by setting some options in the gmfgraph or
map models? Or do I have to manipulate the gmfgen model? I think it's no
good practice to manipulate generated stuff, is it?

Cheers,
Hauke

No, the proper place for modifying this property is .gmfgen model.

The problem is: currently implemented merging functionality can not properly
handle this property. We have a request for it in GMF bugzilla. For now you
have to manually set this property all the time to "false". ;-(
