Job Title Senior Software Engineer - Workshop
Requisition No. 8897BR
Job Description - As a contributor to BEA Workshop, you will design and
implement IDE tools, related user interface and runtime framework
technology that BEA customers use to develop enterprise applications, web
services, and web applications. Your contributions will help ease the
complexity of new enterprise Java application and SOA development.

BEA Workshop provides IDE tools for a wide variety of standards-based and
open-source technologies and aids users in developing applications that
execute on a variety of modern application servers and associated
containers.

-You will work closely with development teammates, product managers, QA
developers, and technical writers from BEA Workshop and other BEA product
teams.

-You are expected to be a practical, enthusiastic technical leader who
enjoys working on a talented team and strives to motivate smart teammates
by example.
Qualifications/Necessary Skills -Mastery of state-of-the-art commercial
software development in Java, including object-oriented technology, agile
methods, and appropriate use of design patterns.

-Exposure to enterprise Java technologies such as BEA WebLogic, Beehive,
Spring, Struts, Axis, AJAX, or Hibernate is helpful.

-Experience participating in software industry initiatives such as JSR
expert groups, open-source projects, conferences, or developer web forums.

Minimum Qualifications -At least five years of experience implementing
enterprise-scale and commercial-grade tools, user interfaces, distributed
systems, servers and/or applications.

-Familiarity with Java user interface and enterprise java technologies
such as SWT, Swing, JSP, JSF, J2EE, Web Services (SOAP, WSDL) is required.
Education

-BS or MS in Computer Science, or equivalent.
