Hello guys,

I am a beginner for BIRT, unfortunately I am facing a major problem that is to integrate the BIRT 4.3.1 runtime to Felix OSGI.
The first, I don't know what is the different between the BIRT 4.3.1 package and the BIRT 4.3.1 OSGI package. both of them can be downloaded from BIRT web site.
The second, I import libraries of the BIRT 4.3.1 package to my Felix bundle, there would trigger more exception when I just run a sample servlet to run a rptdesign. It seem the BIRT 4.3.1 runtime package run another OSGI of equinox. is it correctly?
The third, is there a way for integrate the BIRT 4.3.1 runtime or BIRT 4.3.1 OSGI runtime to felix?

Thanks.
Panl Yang.

The difference between the standard 4.3.1 runtime and the 4.3.1 OSGi runtime is that the standard runtime is a POJO. I've not tried to integrate with Felix. I'll have to take a look.

Any way you could send me the simple bundle you tried using? Did you use the 4.3.1 or 4.3.1 OSGi runtime?

Thanks for your reply.
Unfortunately, I cannot provide the simple bundle to you, because the codes are in intranet of our company. But I am sure with BIRT 4.3.1, is not 4.3.1 OSGI package.
Anyway I will try to provide the bundle when I am free. I am so sorry.

Hello,

I have upload the example bundle, there are just a sample servlet and pom.xml. There maybe any problems of pom.xml. but the servlet can illustrate this topic.

Thanks.

Sorry for the delay. I'll try to take a look at this sometime this afternoon.
