Instability - out of memory errors and freezing [message #187549]

I am using Eclipse with WTP/JSF on Debian GNU/Linux 4.0 (Etch) amd64. It

whether to close workbench, and sometimes it simply freezes and do not

packages were at version 1.5.0-08-1.1. The problems started when the
packages were upgraded to 1.5.0-10-1. Eclipse couldn't start at all.
After that I used java6, Eclipse was very unstable, and now I reverted
to 1.5.0-08-1.1, but stability didn't improve.

In the period of stability JSF was not yet installed. Is JSF the problem
or something else and is there some solution?
