Hello,

I would like to display a Wizard when the user clicks on a creation tool
of the palette and then on the diagram. The wizard would allow to edit
some properties of the object being created or allow to cancel the creation.

What is the best way of doing that?

Thanks in advance.

I'd advise you not doing this at all. There is no sense in starting
wizard and immediately canceling it; there is 'undo' action to 'cancel'
created element; properties may be edited in property sheet later.
Generally it's a bad tone to show dialogs and wizards while editing the
diagram. Must create differently initialized nodes? - use different
tools and refine what you've created later.
