SVN Team Provider Plugin unavailable from installer [message #17285] Thu, 24 April 2008 18:55 Go to next message

Hi,

I'm trying to get Subversive 0.7.0.v20080214 installed in my Eclipse 3.3
environment. Following the instructions at
http://www.eclipse.org/subversive/documentation/gettingStart ed/aboutSubversive/install.php

and using the update site
http://download.eclipse.org/technology/subversive/0.7/update -site/

for the Subversive plugin doesn't allow me to install the core svn plugin
that is required by pretty much everything else.

In the "Select features to install" portion of the update wizard, under
Subversive -> Subversive SVN Team Provider Plugin (Incubation), there are
only two entries, both of which are listed as optional. On the
installation instructions page, the screenshot has a third component
listed: SVN Team Provider. It seems that this is the the primary plugin
that is necessary for all the others to work. When I select most other
components I get an error. For example, "Subversive SVN Connectors
(2.0.0.v20080423) requires feature "org.eclipse.team.svn
(0.7.0.v20080214)", or compatible."

I'm unable to proceed with any kind of installation. Any advice would be
appreciated.

Greg.

Hello Greg,

This issue is fixed time ago. So please install newest Subversive build,
for example currently available v20080423. Also please note that
connectors should be installed separately. You can find more details at:
http://www.eclipse.org/subversive/downloads.php
