How to salvage important files from old installation [message #180502]

Now what I used to do in this situation was to copy the
configuration/bookmarks.xml from the old installation to the new and this
seemed to work well. Is there a similar file where all the workspaces are
stored that I can easily copy? What other files might I want to copy from
the old installation?
