We have an external legacy app from which we are to read coordinate and size
information of our nodes.

I understand the BoundsImpl class stores the view coordinates and size.

I'm not sure how it should be customized. Should I subclass it and put
custom code. Then the question is how does the subclass get used instead of
the base. I'm assuming there will be a factory somewhere.

Could I go the other way? We already create semantic objects from the legacy
app. Is there a utility function which will find the view given a semantic
object?

thanks mucho,
