Need to be in OseeAdmin to rename your own branch? [message #16958] Fri, 24 July 2009 06:38 Go to next message

One of my users complained this morning that they could not rename a
branch that they had accidentally spelled incorrectly.

I assumed they must have removed some access rights, but no, they had full
rights. It appears that one has to be in the OseeAdmin group to delete
(which is fine) or rename (which seems a bit odd) a branch, even if one
created it and has full rights to it.

Is it possible to modify this behaviour please?

Hi Mark,

Yes, the existing access control was overly restrictive. This is
addressed by bug https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=286458
which is now fixed.

Regards,
Ryan
