Hi,

can anyone point where it could be possible to download BPEL project
Eclipse pulgins and features. There is available only Eclipse update in
BPEL project home and not downloads. As I have no direct access from my
computer where my Eclipse installation is then I cann;t use BPEL from
Eclipse.

Why BPEL people are so unwilling to make their work simply downloadable,
as I understand - it is one of the key features of Eclipse that adding new
plugins and features is as simple as putting files in appropriate
directories...

Anyway - if somone has full Eclipse BPEL - then it would be nice to
receive it on my e-mail vincent_kwinsey@yahoo.com. Or - if some links is
available - the, please, be kind and post it.

Thanks in advance!

The update site is described as the simplest method, but you can check the
code out from their CVS server:

2. Check out the following plug-ins from
:pserver:anonymous@dev.eclipse.org:/cvsroot/technology

In folder org.eclipse.bpel/plugins:
org.eclipse.bpel.common.model
org.eclipse.bpel.common.ui
org.eclipse.bpel.model
org.eclipse.bpel.ui
3. Launch a runtime workbench (a.k.a. Eclipse Application).

4. In order to see some examples you can either get them from the same cvs
repository as above (but you'll have to create it again in the runtime
workbench)
In folder org.eclipse.bpel/examples/projects:
org.eclipse.bpel.example.simple
org.eclipse.bpel.example.orderprocessing
Or create a new project. In this project, extract the simple example or the
Order Processing example.

5. Double-click on the .bpel file to open the BPEL editor.

OK - I did this - but the result was - as one can expect from CVS system -
tha source *.java files, but - apparently - Eclipse requires compiled jar
files. What is the order of compilation for Eclipse plugins and features.
It is not apparent - because - there is buil.properties but not build.xml
file (as is e.g. ArgoUML code when it is accessed from CVS) in any of BPEL
directories... I assume that even the Eclipse build should be (or can be)
done by Ant? Or there is intention to use plain javac commandline?

Thanks for any kind of help in advance!
