Local desktop: Pentium M,
Ubuntu 6.06 "Dapper Drake"
Gnome desktop

Remote system: Intel x86
Red Hat EL 4
Java 2 SDK 1.5.0-09
eclipse 3.2.1

When I run an eclipse session on the remote system, with remote
display to the X server on my laptop, and then shut down the eclipse
session, all windows on my Gnome desktop are displayed.

Has anyone else seen this? Does anyone knows what causes it? Does
anyone know how to make eclipse (or whatever causes it) stop doing it?

Thanx!

No. At least I haven't.

Looks like it closes down all windows on the desktop, and then opens
all of them, including the ones that were closed in the first place.
