There is a tiny bug in Eclipse 3.2.1/WTP, not a show stopper at all, but
still annoying sometimes.

I have installed WTP, and started a static web project. If I open the HTML
page using the embedded web browser in Eclipse and then go back to the HTML
editor, the cursor will disappear, until I change something and hit Ctrl-S
to save the changes... of course, the catch is, I need to remember where
the cursor WAS so that the change I make will not mess up the code.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I can't repeat this with Eclipse 3.2.1 + WebTools 1.5.1.

That said, if you can consistently repeat this behaviour, you should
report the bug. I did a quick search in bugzilla and came up empty. It
would be great if you could file a bug report about this so that the
developers have a a chance to fix it.
