Now I have installed agent controller on other computer.
I start agent controller from command consolle in such a way: go up
RASERVER_HOME/bin and gives RAServer.exe.
On my computer I have in Eclipse Window - Preferences-
Profilling and Logging - Hosts
IP:10002 as a new computer added and localhost:10002 deleted.
With the test Connection 'Connection Success' is indicated.
If I, however, profiles start the following error message is given:

Reason:
IWAT0284E The agent controller is not available on host localhost.
Make sure that:
* the agent controller is installed.
* the agent controller is configured to communicate with your machine.
* you have the correct host name and port number for the agent controller.

Why?

Vadim,

I am not sure how you are starting the Profiling application (using launch
or attach).
But whatever mechanism you use,

1. Open the Profile window (Run->Profile) and select the configuration you
are going to use (need to create the configuration if starting a new one)
and you should see the "Host" tab on the right-side. 2. In the Host tab, you
will see the "locahost:10002" alongwith your remote machine (as you already
added the remote machine through Window->Preferences). But by default
localhost entry is selected in this tab (it also depends on which machine
you used last).
3. Please select the remote machine you want to connect to in the Host tab.
4. In the adjacent tabs, enter the java application details (if launching)
or select the agent (if attaching) and click on Profile. Now you should be
able to connect to the RAC running on the remote machine.

I am assuming you are following instructions provided at the following
location (Section 4.0).

http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/documents/tutorials/profili ngtool/profilingexample_32.html

Let me know if you still have problems.

Regards
Vishnu

Hi Vadim,

During the agent controller config, could you ensure that the network access
mode was set correctly? You should have been presented with something
similar to:

Network access mode (ALL=allow any host, LOCAL=allow only this host,
CUSTOM=list
of hosts):
Default>"LOCAL" (Press <ENTER> to accept the default value)
New value>

Setting this to ALL or defining a custom list of hosts might solve your
problem. You can change this by rerunning the agent controller SetConfig

Did you set the
