How can you set the font size in Eclipse? [message #171163] Sat, 16 September 2006 01:42 Go to next message

I have looked all through Windows/preferences/editors, etc. and can't find
where to set the FONT size for my main editor. I find:
Code Assist
Folding
Hovers
Linked Mode
Mark Occurrences
Syntax Coloring
Templates
Typing
Accessibility
Annotations
Quick Diff
Spelling

but where can I set the FONT SIZE?
Namely, it is too big, I want it to be about 8pt.

Thanks,
Edward

I know what you went thru. Look under General -> Appearance -> Colors
and Fonts and you'll find what you need.

There are links to this preference in a couple places that lead to
General -> Editors -> Text Editors, but they are not at all obvious to find.

For future reference, the Preferences window has a handy search feature.
Just type in part of the term you are looking for in the text box at the
top.
For example, typing "font" takes you right to this setting.
