Hi Martin,

You mention in this http://martintaal.wordpress.com/2012/10/12/emft-texo-using-xtend2-for-faster-generation/ post that you might consider migrating to xtend2 for template overriding. This would be nicer for my purpose, so consider this a vote. Smile

I'm not quite sure from the overriding page exactly where I'm supposed to put the xpand templates in order to take advantage of the auto-overiding?

btw, I'm playing around w/ some generation of some very simple javascript code for editing texo models. If it goeas anywhere significant/interesting I'll report back here. So far, Texo is working out very well for our needs, so thanks!

cheers,

Miles

Ignore that. Missed that there was an entire section of the docs devoted to this. Very Happy

Hi Miles,
Nice to hear that it all works for you.

For your previous remark, moving to xtend2 has as obstacle that xtend2 generates java classes, for Texo to call these
classes it needs to run using the classpath of the xtend2 generated java classes. This is possible but complex. Xpand
can be loaded dynamically just from a file-path.

Looking forward to see generated javascript code!
