Trouble opening file in workspace programmatically [message #170682]

My plug-in tries to open an editor for a java file once a user double clicks
on an element in my table. When I call IDE.openEditor on this file a new
editor opens up, but the contents of the file are not displayed. Rather,
the content in the file is simply "ERROR." If I try and open an external
editor like open office the file will open fine so I know my IFile is
pointing at the correct file. Any ideas???
