This is my firs time using eclipse. I downloaded the zip file but after
the plugin directory is extracted it requests passwords for the rest of
the files.

How do I obtain this password?

Thanks,

Jerome,

The eclipse zip files from www.eclipse.org do not have passwords on
them. If you encounter this problem it probably means your zip client is
not functioning properly. Which one are you using? You might want to
try using 7-Zip instead: http://www.7-zip.org/

Hope this helps,
- Jeff

Thank you Jeff

Just ran into the same problem
Win XP SP2 ... using the built in UnZip
Unpacked to the download folder

Zip file is in long dir tree and requested a password for a single file.
7-Zip failed to unpack 14 files to same target dir
7-Zip unpacked without error to C:\Eclipse SDK\
