Hy guys,
I downloaded the latest version of Eclipse Epsilon Boundle, 64bit for Linux. Unfortunately when i start it i receive that error:

bash: ./eclipse: cannot execute binary file

It is strange because i have the previous version installed in the same machine and it works well! It's the same for the standard version of the latest Eclipse version.

My OS is Ubuntu 12.04 64bit and I'm using the latest version of oracle jdk as well.

can anyone help me?

Sorry, it seems I might have made a mistake while building or uploading the 64-bit version.

The problem is that I'm currently away at a conference and I won't be able to rebuild it until Saturday. If you need it before then, I'd advise downloading the Eclipse 64-bit Modeling distribution and installing Epsilon through our update site.

Again, sorry for the inconvenience Sad.

No Problem!
I will use the previous one for now hoping the fixed version will be updated soon.

Good work!

I've just uploaded a new distribution which should be fixed. Could you try it out and let us know if it works for you?

Hi,

I've been following this issue, as I had the same problem last week.

The Linux 64bit button now goes to a broken link from http://www.eclipse.org/epsilon/download/ (or rather the file is no longer available).

Hi Dave,

The link should work fine now - apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Cheers,
