Hi all,

I am testing the bundle Eclipse Epsilon with Eugenia. I have
implemented some examples of Eugenia/GMF editors which use SVG image files.

In order to use this characteristic, with Juno I had to install the
GMF Tooling Experimental. I tried to do this with Kepler but I have
found some problems, and the result is that I have errors when I
generate the editor. Concretely, the problems arise in the generated
..diagram project (Eclipse cannot find the bundle relate to gmf tooling
experimental

Has anyone tested this Eugenia/GMF feature with Kepler? Is it
possible to use SVG image files in the Eugenia release for Kepler?

Thanks in advance,
Toñi

Hi Toñi,

It seems that SVG support is now included with the standard GMF distribution, so the experimental plugins are not needed anymore. The only problem is that Eugenia is adding dependencies on "org.eclipse.gmf.runtime.lite" and "org.eclipse.gmf.runtime.lite.svg", and the "org.eclipse.gmf.runtime.lite" plugin is not included in the standard GMF distribution.

I've tried removing the dependency on "org.eclipse.gmf.runtime.lite" and keeping the dependency on "org.eclipse.gmf.runtime.lite.svg" and it works for me. Could you try it out?

I've fixed the issue locally by editing the source code in Eugenia. I'll file the bug report and do the rest of the work in a few hours.

No problem at all!
Antonio

I've reported the issue here:

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=417277

It's now fixed in SVN. I've also updated the website to reflect this and I'm currently uploading a new interim update site which includes the fix.

The fix should be now included in the current interim update site:

http://download.eclipse.org/epsilon/interim/

Please upgrade your Epsilon installation and let us know if it works for you Smile.
