The Outline view of EcoreTools has a "Link with Editor" button that may help.

Cheers

Hi Eike,

sorry i forgot to mention that this button doesn´t help. The editor won´t do anything when selecting or double clicking on a class although this button is enabled. Maybe a bug? I use eclipse Kepler.

Anyway thanks for your help
Thomas

For me it selects the class in the diagram. I didn't test whether it also reveals the selected class in case it is
outside of the visible diagram area.

Ok thats strange... do you also use Kepler? I tried it again but still not works, not if the diagram shows the part where the selected element is and not if the diagram shows a different part... hmm

Any other ideas?

Thanks alot
