I upgrade from 3.1.0-RC1 to 3.1.0-RC2.

I got a weird error when going to a link that referenced the RC1 war file.

When I replace 3.1.0-RC1 with RC2 will RC2 overwrite everything appropriately or should the hudson/war directory be manually deleted first?

Every time you start with java -jar hudson.war, the war content is expanded in to the directory <HUDSON-HOME>/war folder. It contents should be replaced. Doesn't hurt to clean it up to be positive.
