File Header Template [message #165500] Wed, 08 March 2006 16:05 Go to next message

I'd like the ability to create a File Header on every C/C++ file that I
generate using the CDT. The JDT allows me to do this easily. I haven't
found a way to do it in the CDT.

is there any way to do this?

Open your Preferences, and look in C/C++ -> Editor -> Templates. You
should be able to create the framework for a header here, and use a
quick keystroke completion to fill it in automatically and then make
minor changes by hand.

Thanks for posting the question. I was also struggling with this, and found your post.

I found a solution and posted it on StackOverflow. Here's the link (sorry that it's chopped up with spaces, but I can't post URLs because I'm new).

Hope this helps the OP (or any future wanderers!).
Cheers.
