Help with Window Management [message #1095782] Tue, 27 August 2013 10:14
Eclipse UserFriend
I am running Eclipse CDT Helios with Glade 2 on a CentOS 6.4 64bit laptop. I am creating a multi-window application and I would like it to manage the behavior of the windows a little differently from normal...

From the main window, I can open a 'child' window (non modal, top_level) to run some specific operations. I want this window to stay above the main window even if I access the main window. The Find/Replace dialog in the eclipse IDE behaves this way, so I know my CentOS windows manager can handle the requirement.

Also, I would like to move between workspaces programmatically, as if the right-click window's pop-up menu allows.

Thanks for any attention,
Sara
