Can I use wildcards in User LIbrary jars? [message #163949] Fri, 04 August 2006 17:46 Go to next message

When I configurure a user library, I can add jars that map to a specific
file
e.g. org.eclipse.osgi_3.2.0.v20060601.jar.

How can I have an entry that works for whatever version of this file is
available in the target directory? Eclipse doesn't seem to allow me to
specify org.eclipse.osgi_*.jar.

I'd like to do this so I can use the same user library definition for
different versions of eclipse. Ideas?

Too much dependencies
Can .userlibraries file support variable and wildcards?

it should be easy to move or share with variable and wildcards instead of using the absolutely path.

You probably want to use a Classpath Variable instead of User Library. http://help.eclipse.org/mars/index.jsp?topic=%2Forg.eclipse.jdt.doc.user%2Fconcepts%2Fconcept-classpath-variables.htm
