Hello,

First i'd like to thank the creators of the nice gmf tool. I'm using it
since 3 weeks and I think it's amazing, BUT ( Yes, we're going to the
problem part ), I experienced a very strange and problematic bug.

So, basically, I defined, based on the tutorial, an ecore model, mapping
and graph, with labels. And one compartment.

The problem is that, I can generate the diagram, make my nice graph with
labels, links and nodes. But when I save and close my nice diagram, and I
reopen it, all the links disappear, only the nodes are left ! I also added
other kind of nodes, and they disappear also.

The strange thing is that everything that is in the "compartment"
disappear, not the links exterior to the compartment.

Basically, here are images to make you understand the problem :

First, I create nice nodes, links, inside the big green compartment :

Then, I close the document. I go drink some beers, and I reopen it :

Notice the weird circle with a cross in the left...And all the links have
disappeared.

To be as accurate as possible, I used only one compartment mapping, and
for the link maping, I followed the tutorial ( to have a label on each
line ).
Notice also that the links outisde the green compartment don't disappear...

If anybody have an idea, it will be great, I'm starting to become a little
bit crazy by trying to test different cases...

Thank you !

Dave

Hello Dave,

You can try debugging generated ???CanonicalEditPolicy for your diagram to
realize why all the links were deleted.
