Change Web Content directory name?? [message #162804] Sat, 04 March 2006 15:35
Eclipse UserFriend
Hello,

I'm using Eclipse WTP 1.0.1 on a Debian GNU/Linux system with Java
1.5.0_06.

I would like to know how to change the directoryname of the Web Content
directory in a Dynamic Web Project. I have created a project with the
wrong Web Content name. I've looked in the project properties but couldn't
find a way to change it from within the properties editor.

The problem is that when I change the directoryname by using 'Refactor',
the WAR export doesn't work anymore (when I press 'Finish' in the export
wizard, the wizard blinks, no WAR is created and the wizard doesn't
close). When I then change the directory name back to the original name I
get the following validation error:

CHKJ3000E: WAR Validation Failed:
org.eclipse.jst.j2ee.commonarchivecore.internal.exception.De ploymentDescriptorLoadException:
WEB-INF/web.xml

With kind regards,

Duncan Doyle
