Eclipse + Sun Java System Application Server? [message #162002] Fri, 21 July 2006 14:13 Go to next message

Trying to work out how, if possible, to add "Sun Java System Application
Server Platform Edition 9" to the list of server runtimes available when
creating an "EAR Application Project".

I've done a bit of googling, resulting in [1] but that doesn't appear
relevant to the eclipse.org SDK.

<https://glassfishplugins.dev.java.net/#eclipse>, however it currently
only supports WTP1.0 and SJAS 8.1 & 8.2. This page also refers to the
Dali project <http://www.eclipse.org/dali/>, which apparently focuses on
the EJB 3.0 Java Persistence APIs and O/R mapping.

For those who want to use Eclipse to develop EE apps for Sun AppServer 9
(Glassfish 5):

The Glassfish Plugins project has released Milestone 0.3, which supports
Glassfish 5 (Sun JSAS 9) for Eclipse 3.2 with WTP 1.5.
