Hi.
I don't know if it's my web tools version (1.0) or some option I had to
set, but any change I make in any piece of code of my project starts a
very slow publishing process, even with the server down.
I turned off all automatic publish options on the Server preferences tab.
What can I do to take full manual control on publish?
Thanks in advance

Have you tried this on 1.0.1? 1.0 is very buggy. It sounds like the
preference isn't being respected. To double-check that this is indeed
true, double-click on the server instance (in the servers view) that
gets generated by whatever wizard you run. See if the 'auto publish' is
checked.

Indeed, make sure to use 1.0.1 - 1.0 was horribly slow for
auto-publishing. 1.0.1 seems much, much better all the way around,
especially while publishing to tomcat.
