Automatic graph layout [message #160540] Mon, 06 December 2004 11:50

Hello

I am using GEF for displaying some sort of workflow diagram, and I need an
"automatic" layout algorithm implementation.

I've tried the layout used in the "schema diagram" demo, but it does not
suit all my needs. Ideally, I'd like to be able to set additional
constraints on graph nodes and edges. These constraints would "attach the
edges source and target points on the borders of the source and target
nodes (and do not allow the layout manaher to move them)". More precisely,
I would like to layout my diagram according to the anchors that I'have
defined on the nodes.

Does anyone know a "ready-to-use" GEF layout manager that could help? Or
maybe something else that looks?
