Generating Ant Scripts (for java, not wsdl) in Bottom Up Web Services [message #159946] Thu, 09 February 2006 14:43

Hello. I've used the bottom up web service wizard to create a web service
(WTP 1.0 w/ all prerequisites; jdk 1.5.0_06; win xp). However, I'd like to
export the Ant script used to "compile" the .java -> .class. (I want to
append things to the Ant script and rerun).

I followed this link's explanation for exporting ant files:
http://dheffelfinger.blogspot.com/2005/06/eclipse-31-ant-bui ld-file-importexport.html

I am prompted to export either the service or client projects.

However, it seems to be exporting a wsdl build.xml document, rather than a
build.xml to compile the java source.

Also, if it's possible to generate the java source code's build.xml, is it
possible to compile it?

If further clarification is needed, please let me know. Thanks in advance.
