Bug 123856 causes a null pointer exception when programatically bringing
up an XSD editor. It is fixed in the Eclipse 3.2 code base, but not 3.1.1.

It is threateninig to delay my company's adoption of WST 1.0.

This bug can easily be reproduced from the GUI by:
1. start the workbench with no .xsd files open
2. open a .xsd file using the xsd editor
3. open the same file using the xml editor

Do you know if this bug will be fixed in the 3.1.1 code base?

Also, this bug can cause the Outline pane to become totally unusble, if
the workbench is shut down when an XSD editor was up. On the next restart
of the workbench, if the error occurs, the workbench environment is really
messed up.
