It does not always run slowly, but when it does I am stuck like that for a
day pr two, even if I restart eclipse or even restatt the computer. Has
anyone got any ideas why I am detting this poor performance and how I can
get some improvements.

When it happens next time press Ctrl+Break in the console to the a stack
dump. Do this several times and post it into a new bug.
