Hello,
I've tried to use WTP with JBoss latest days to develop Java EE EJB ; it
works fine but it is still a little bit complicated. I've then recall in
mind that Netbeans handle J2EE too, and downloaded the 5.0 beta2 to see
what were the features regarding Javav EE...
Personnally, I've been impressed with the easiness of developping EJB ;
I've also been pleased by the general way of creating projects and so on.
There is certainly a lot to learn from this version of Netbeans...
especially the way to choose a server, to see the bean (remote,
home, class) as a whole entity, etc...
best regards
Xavier

Although I love Eclipse, I too am impressed with Netbeans5, there are so
many things they got definitely right.
EJB2 has the ease of use of EJB3 in it, by hiding all the glue code.
The server handling is very good (although limited to too few servers
for my taste, jboss didnt even work for me)
Matisse simply is the best ui builder there is from a visual layout
point of view.
Webservice programming is a breeze, absolutely lovely stuff.
Netbeans5 is a huge jump compared to the previous versions, they
definitely head into the right direction. It is good to see serious
competition.
