I'm working on an RCP application built against 4.2.2
I have setup the P2 updating using the tutorial found on the vogella.com site (eclipse.org won't let me post the link as a new user)
Now, the application recognises that there are updates available from the update site (generated from the PDE build) and it says it's updating and that the update job is successful.
However, restarting the application doesn't show any changes and checking the plugins folder shows that the plugins have not been updated.
So, i'm wondering if there's something missing here, it's taken a while to get here as i've found missing p2.* plugins along the way that are required.
I'm wondering if there's something obvious, or, even better, if someone can point me to a simple RCP application example that works from scratch that i can compare to what i'm doing.
