WTP 1.0 final is very slow, compared to RC3 [message #154145] |

Hi all,
Something happened inbetween WTP 1.0 RC3 and WTP 1.0 final. I recently
upgraded by using the all-in-one bundle. Now every saving of a dirty
editor takes about 5-10 seconds. Even Java- and plain text-editors are
affected.
I have already disabled all XML validation, which was always the cause
of slow performance. But this time it seems to be caused by something else.
What can I do to speed up Eclipse/WTP again?
Regards,
Andreas

Disable "Automatically publish to local servers" and use only
"Automatically publish when starting servers".
This way you avoid publishing whenever you click save. Manual deployment
during runtime does the trick.
