Is there a legend explaining the meaning of the small icons displayed in the project explorer-, outline- and other views. E.g. a green dot with a white C means a class, a smaller solid green dot means a method, a green triangle with a white cross means a variable. Where can I find an overview explaining all of them ?

I have an old note on this topic here:

http://www.javahotchocolate.com/notes/eclipse.html#icons

There is a link or two to follow (one appears to have gone stale). There
may be better information from someone else or on eclipse.org.

Hope this helps.
