I have not had problems with Eclipse WTP 0.7.1 and Eclipse PHP and windowsXP

Just for the record, it seems that PHPeclipse and WTP don't mix too
well: news://news.eclipse.org:119/dort71$dkd$1@utils.eclipse.org

Try the cvs PHPEclipse snpashot dated December..

I belive the first note on the PHPEclipse site detials the download and the bug reprots explaining why you shoudl use cvs snapshot with Eclipse 3.1
