Hello, I am writing an editor which currently needs only the following
palette tools: ConnectionCreationToolEntry and SelectionToolEntry? In an
effort to save the user the hassle of having to switch tools between
actions I want to combine the important behaviors of the two ToolEntry
objects together. This seems like a common problem. Does anyone know if
this has already been written? If not, and I am able to write a generic
enough implementation, where would be the best place to post or donate
this?
Thanks

There is a ConnectionCreationDragTacker in GEF. The normal selection tool
obtains dragtrackers from the editparts on mouse down.
