STEM Project Migration to Git [message #1033790] Thu, 04 April 2013 12:48 Go to next message
Eclipse UserFriend
Last week, STEM committers decided the time has come to migrate our source repository from Subversion to Git. This process affects all committers and other users of the STEM source code.

We intend to complete this transition before the end of April. For details about the transition, please see the guide on our wiki:

http://wiki.eclipse.org/STEM/Git_Migration

Please post any questions regarding the transition here or on the stem-dev mailing list.

Thanks,
-Matt

Just as a reminder, tomorrow (April 30) we will perform the migration from SVN to Git. Please get the final commits into SVN before 9:00am PDT or wait until the migration is completed. It'll take a few hours to complete - I'll send a note when things are finished.

For more details, please see our Git migration details page: http://wiki.eclipse.org/STEM/Git_Migration
