Hi

I would like to know if there is a way other than discussing on the form, we can actually get some real support from eclipse? Things like recognizing a bug and when it will get fixed, etc?

Thanks

David

You can open bugs at https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/ and post comments in that bug.
For bugs or advanced questions you can also contact the CDT community by email using the cdt mailing list at cdt-dev at eclipse dot org. This mailing list is not meant for basic questions, which should be handled through this forum.
Through the mailing list you can also ask questions about when things will get fixed, or explain why a bug needs attention.

Please note that the easiest way to get something fixed is to post a code fix yourself, or make it as obvious as possible to a CDT developer to understand what the problem and solution is. Reporting bugs is very useful and is appreciated, but does not guarantee that someone will have the time to fix it if it does not impact them.

I hope this helps.
