Sorry for being slow here, but I have been staring at this for ages and
just don't get it.

I have the GEF logic and flow examples (ver 3.0.0) installed in Eclipse
3.0.0 (Build 200406251208) and they work fine in that I can create .flow
and .logic examples in a Simple Project.

Then I wanted to step through the source to understand how they worked.

I tried
File > Import > External Plug-ins and Fragments

then set the Source Code Locations to include
".../plugins/org.eclipse.gef.examples.source_3.0.0/src"

Then what do I do?

I expected to find them in the list of Plug-ins and Fragments found, but
no such luck.

Similarly, they do not appear under
Windows > Preferences > Plug-Development > Target Platform
nor can I find any obvious way to add them.

Sorry if the question is stupid, as my understand of this is very limited
and I can well imagine that I am on completely the wrong track, but I
don't know any other approach.

How can I get to step through and analyse the source code please?

Many thanks
Roger

Did you download GEF 3.0 via the update site? If so, go in the GEF plug-ins
and delete the META-INF folders. That's what's preventing those plug-ins
from being found.

Before selecting the plug-ins, there is an option to import as source or
binary. Did you change this?

Thanks guys, deleting the META-INF folders worked.
I knew my grasp on this was shaky before, now I see I overestimated my
understanding!

On Randy's question, I think I tried every permutation of every option in
a desperate flurry of random activity, but my option of choice was for
source as I wanted to fiddle around with the code.
