I am looking for source code for BIRT: A Field Guide (third edition), not for extension and integration book.

I search the whole book and I can not find any clue where is the source code.

Sorry about that. I will look into where the Field Guide examples are and post back.

I was also looking for a link to the source code for the "BIRT: A field Guide" book. I googled and only found this forum thread, but no link to the example source code.

Did anyone ever find a link to where the source code to the book examples might be available?

Thanks!

I'm not certain if this source is available like with the integrating book. I'll see what I can find out. What examples are you looking for specifically?

Specifically, I was looking for the sub-report linking example from chapter 16.

I've been trying to build a report with two data sets where one data set contains summary statistics and the other data set contains detailed records to do a form of drill-down reporting. My use case sounds similar to the one in chapter 16 so I was hoping to compare my logic/steps with the ones in the book.

Sorry for the delayed response. I'll have to take a look in the book to see what the example is you're talking about. Are you drilling down within the same design? Or do you have two separate designs? Also, what's your BIRT version?
