in our project, we are using a global scope provider to be able to reference model objects from "referenced projects". This works fine.
Now we noticed that this does not work for Maven dependencies or Eclipse plugin dependencies. Obviously, m2e and PDE do not keep the usual project dependencies in sync with their own, domain specific dependencies.
Do you have any idea how to get scoping to work with Maven or Plugin dependencies? Is there an Eclipse API which allows handling this in as generic way? If not, I would require a compile dependency to m2e/PDE. Which point allows me extending the global scope resolution?
I am using XText 1.0.1, there is currently no plan to upgrade to a more recent version.

Thanks for any help,
