Hi,

I have a very strange problem over here. Trying to set up my laptop and did a complete format and fresh installation of Windows XP and everything i need.

I downloaded the latest .zip archive from eclipse.org and when i start eclipse, i get two error messages saying that something is missing for Git. I didn't bother since i'm not using Git.
But then, as i imported my project into the workspace i realized there is something else that doesn't work properly.
I can't switch do C/C++ perspective! It just doesn't show up in the perspective list!

So i copied my working eclipse from my desktop-pc to the laptop -> same story!! no C/C++ perspective.

I downloaded the indigo version: all fine here.

very strange... i really don't get it what's wrong with my laptop.
I'll appreciate any help on this!

thank you very much,
Bob
