I first use orion and downloaded the eclipse-orion(2.0m) and unzip to local disk(d:\)
run orion.exe and I inputed "localhost:8080" on Chrome browser.
It look like the server is ok, but nothing is showed on browser.

why?!

Hi Alex,

What do you mean by "nothing" in the browser. Is it a 404 message, another kind of error, or just a blank page. If you open the network tab in the chrome dev tools you should see the requests and responses between browser and server. Are there any requests, are they successful, etc. The most likely culprit that comes to mind is a firewall program or similar security preventing the server from opening that port.

OK I've reproduced this. All I did was download a recent build and launch orion.exe.
The landing page (GET http://localhost:8080/) is blank:

HTTP/1.1 200 OK
Last-Modified: Wed, 23 Jan 2013 19:33:48 GMT
ETag: W/"0-1358969628989"
Content-Length: 0
Server: Jetty(8.1.3.v20120522)

All the other Orion pages work OK, but you need to manually type in their URLs. A workaround is to visit http://localhost:8080/navigate/table.html which allows you to create an account, log in and start using Orion.
