I don't know if my issue is related to the thread http://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/t/446433/ but i post it here.

I have an hybrid application. I use e4 views, some 3.x views, and graphiti editors.
When my application starts up, the menus I defined in .e4xmi appear, when i open a graphiti editor, that menu is supressed, and appears the menus of Graphiti (View.. etc).

Is there a way to keep both, the defined in the model, and the one contributed by graphiti, or other editor/ 3.x based.

I can see it's related to the same bug.

That setMainMenu(null). Any workaround for this?

Maybe extract the part of the menu from app model, and setting menu on startup, everytime . ugly. but maybe it works.
