I couldnt add my web server (bea weblogic) to the eclipse web service liste
of Web Services section (window/preferences/web services/server and

Can this server list be edited ?
Thanks for any help.

Currently only Geronimo can be chosen and Tomcat..

the reasoning is that they included additional apis with the serverdefs of Tomcat and Geronimo to make this work..

I assume as we get closer to WTP1.0 final in December and WTP 1.5 in Summer of 2006 we wil lsee a change towards allowing all servers to be added..

And of course by then we should be up to AXIS2.0..hopefully

Actually the Geronimo is no longer prepackaged with Eclipse/WTP and has
now been moved under the Apache Geronimo project. However, there is
work currently being done to provide a dynamic install mechanism for
external server adapters that are hosted on external sites.
